Elegant Gems & Minerals was founded in 1986 by the late great Javed Paracha. A widely respected and elegant man himself, Javed was born and raised in Nuristan, Afghanistan. Located on the southern slopes of the Hindu Kush mountains in the northeastern part of the country.
